PAIR: Commonwealth of Australia, Senior Cadets, Brigade Competition medals, 1911-12 to Col.Sgt. J.Hogan, 62nd Battn and 1912-13 to 2nd Lieut. J.J.P.Hogan, 62nd Battn. Both engraved. Very fine and scarce as a pair.
John Joseph Patrick Hogan was born 11 July 1886. D Coy 62nd Battn was part of the 16th Brigade, from Carlton, Victoria. Col.Sgt. Hogan was 2/IC to Lieut.Garsen for the Senior Cadets 1911-12 Series of Commonwealth Military Competitions and O/C as 2nd Lieut. for the 1912-13 Series.
