BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, printer's proof or essay of one pound, Sydney 1st day of -190- MV1000 (MVR pedigrees p.70), printed on front only, blue on apricot. Extremely fine and very rare.

Ex Spink Australia Sale 36 (lot 2697) and Dr.J.Powell Collection. Vignette of Hawkesbury River, NSW and railway bridge, a forerunner of the scene to the back of the five pounds gold series 1923-32.
