NUMIDIA, Kings of, Masinissa and successors, probably Micipsa, (c.203-118 B.C.), AE 26, (17.76 g), obv. bearded and diadmeded head of Macipsa to left, rev. horse trotting to left, several pellets below, (cf.S.6597, cf.M.32, SNG Cop. 505, Mazard 50). Dark tone, very fine and scarce.
