C. MARIUS C.F. Capito, (81 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.74 g), obv. Ceres draped bust to right, hair bound in corn-wreath, C. MARI C.F. CAPIT, rev. husbandman plowing to left, with yoke of oxen, II above, plain in exergue, (S.299, Cr.378/1a, Syd.744, B.Maria 7). Serrated edge, slightly off centred, otherwise very fine and rare.
