AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - 14 A.D.), silver denarius (3.48 g), Colonia Patricia mint, issued 18-16 B.C., obv. laureate head of Augustus to right, dotted border, rev. [AV]GVSTVS in exergue, capricorn to right holding globe and rudder, cornucopiae on its back, (S.1592, RIC 126, RSC 21; BMCRE 346 = BMCRR Rome 4374). Off centred, lightly toned, chip in edge, otherwise good fine and rare.
