VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 73, (3.46 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG CENS, rev. Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, PONTIF MAXIM around, (S.2305, RIC 65, RSC 387). Short on flan at top, otherwise nearly extremely fine/very fine and scarce.
