DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 95-96 (2.81 g), obv. bare head of Domitian to right, around DOMITIA[NVS A]VG GERM, rev. IMP CAESAR across architrave of a temple of six columns, within, Jupiter seated betrween two standing figures, in pediment seated figures between two statues, on roof, ornaments and statues, (cf.S.2726, BMC p.346 note, RIC 207, RSC 174). Porous obverse and reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
