ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 221-2, (2.37 g), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around SVMMVS SACERDOS AVG, Elagabalus standing to left, sacrificing, (S.7549, RIC 146, RSC 276); another silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 220-1, (3.33 g), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around VICTORIA AVG, Victory hovering between two shields, star in right field, (S.7554, RIC 161, RSC 300a); Julia Paula, first wife of Elagabalus, (A.D. 220), silver denarius, (1.75 g), obv. draped bust of Julia Paula to right, around IVLIA PAVLA AVG, rev. Concordia seated to left on curule chair with patera and double cornucopiae, around CONCORDIA, star in left field, (S.7655, RIC 211, RSC.6a). First coin porous, last with minor flan crack, otherwise mostly very fine, last scarce. (3)
