AEMILIAN, (A.D. 253), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, (3.47 g), obv. radiate bust of Aemilian to right, around [IMP AEM]ILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. around MARTI PROPVGT, Mars standing to left, leaning on shield and holding spear, (S.9837, RIC 6, RSC 25). Off centred, porous surface, nearly very fine and rare.
