VALENS, (A.D. 364-378), silver siliqua, Treveri mint, issued A.D. c.367-375 (2.30 g), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valens to right, around DN VALEN S PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA around, Roma enthroned to left, holding spear and Victory, TRPS. in exergue, (S.4113, RIC 27e, RSC 109a). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
