UNITED STATES, 1870-1882, various issues as official imperf plate proofs on cards, made (Scott) between 1879-1893, 1870 issues 2c - 90c, several in different colours to normal issue, Jackson, 2c brown, 2c red, Washington 3d green, Lincoln 6c red-brown; Stanton 7c red, Jefferson 10c brown, Clay 12c black, Webster 15c orange, Scott 24c violet, Hamiliton 30c black, Perry 90c red, another violet (both illustrated), 1875 Taylor 5c blue (cf.SG 181); 1882 series Washington 2c brown, Jackson 4c green, (cf.SG complete set, (cf.SG 213-214) (30c and 90c illustrated). Mint, most with some toning. (16)
