Harry William Garlick MB, BS, MD, FRCP, FRACP (1917-1991). He had a distinguished medical career in wartime service with the Army and in civilian life. Among other posts he was Deputy President of the Medical Board of Victoria for ten years. He was one of the inaugural recipients of The Royal Australian College of Physicians Outstanding Service Medal established in 1984. Together with research
