S.C.E.G.S. Headmaster's Cup, Champion Athlete 1925, C.S.Stuart, in sterling silver (95g), hallmarked for Birmingham 1922. Cup needs regluing to turned timber base, nick to inside edge of cup, otherwise very fine.

In The Torch-Bearer No 3 Vol XXX Dec.1925, the magazine of the Sydney Church of England Grammar School, it is recorded that C.S.Stuart was one of only two Senior Prefects for Terms 2 and 3. He was on the Athletics, the Swimming and The Torch-Bearer Sub-Committees. He was also a member of the Rugby 2nd XV and Captain and Honorary Secretary of the Senior Athletic Team. In 1925 he won the Athletics Senior Championship Shield and the Headmaster's Cup with 37 points after winning the Open 100, 220 and 440 yards and the one mile and finishing 2nd in the Open High Jump. At the Annual GPS Athletics he won the 880 yards in a new record and finished equal second in the 440 yards, also breaking the previous record.
