RAN I.C.Watson on first medal, I.C.Watson R.A.N on second, third and fifth medals, fourth medal unnamed. First and second medal impressed, other named medals engraved. Swing mounted, very fine - good very fine.

Ian Charles Watson, born 13Jul1941 at Annerley, Queensland; joined RAN as Cadet Midshipman 01Jan1955, Engineering & Electrical Branch; Vietnam service on HMAS Melbourne 31.5.1965 - 9.6.1966 and HMAS Brisbane as Lieutenant on first deployment 20.3.1969 - 13.10.1969 and second deployment 16.3.1971 - 15.10.1971; awarded National Medal in 1977; Captain I.C.Watson awarded the Nationl Order of Merit by France in recognition of his part in the construction of HMAS Success which was built based on the French 'Durance' Class ship.
