CENTENNIAL INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION MELBOURNE, 1888, in bronze (76mm) by Stokes & Martin for Melbourne Mint (C.1888/8) edge impressed, 'The Coal Creek Coal Co.' In official case of issue, this damaged, good extremely fine.

Sir Arthur Guinness, a lawyer and member of the New Zealand House of Representatives for the electorate of Greymouth awarded the medal for exhibiting coal.
