JENKINS, William. No (17) Sydney (July 17) 18(12) W. Jenkins. I Promise to Pay to Bearer the sum of Two Shillings and Six-pence, on demand, in copper coin. 2s. 6d. (Wm Jenkins) (MVR type AW, with guide line vertically between ornaments and text see MVR figure 22 similar for a shilling note, on watermarked ribbed paper, note mentioned in Vort Ronald Colonial Currency & Promissory Notes p.36). Minute "pin holes" and two bottom edge tears on fold lines and tear in left edge, otherwise a full note nearly fine and very rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 91 (lot 2974) and previously Sale 89 (lot 1893) from the W.G. & L.M. Wright Collection.
