BEAR N.D. & Co Ltd., Bears Home Furniture & Furnishings, Sydney, Discount note, ten shillings, issued for use as a promise to pay bearer as a discount for every five pounds worth of goods purchased by bearer, not dated c.1920s (telephone number M2021 provided) signed by Director and Secretary, no watermark, pink on brown on front and brown on back, (type not illustrated in Vort Ronald..Miscellaneous..p.23 but noted). Several pin holes, many creases, otherwise very good and very rare, possibly unique.
