LYDIA, Sardis, Nero, (A.D. 54 - 68), issued about A.D. 60, by Magistrate Minidius as strategos, AE 16 (4.77 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NEP**W*N KAICAP, rev. Herakles laureate head right, with lion skin tied around neck, around **EPI MINDIOU SARDIANWN*, (S.-, RPC 3002, BMC 120, SNG Cop. 523 [522 corrected]). Very fine and rare.
