VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (2.97 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG, rev. Vespasian seated to right, curule chair holding sceptre and branch, PONTIF MAXIM around, (S.2300, RIC 76, RSC 363). Toned, nearly extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
