VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (10.40 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to left, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG COS VII, rev. Spes standing to left, holding flower, (cf.S.2361, RIC 730, BN Paris 721, BMC 703-4). Dark brown patina, nearly very fine, scarce.
