ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 153-154, (2.79 g), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XVII, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII, Annona standing left holding two corn ears and resting left hand on modius set on a prow, (S.4068, BMC 809, RIC 231, RSC 291). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine.
