BEM: Supplement to LG 1/1/1942 Technical Training Command - Flight Sergeant Douglas Charles Pointing, RAF Station, Blackpool. Flight Sergeant Pointing is the senior NCO in the clothing stores and is responsible for the organisation and administration of all equipment assistants on the station. He is imbued with a high sense of duty and discipline, in consequence of which he possesses a flair for dealing with airmen personnel. By his diligence and organising abilities he has proved a great asset to the equipment branch, maintaining a high state of efficiency and inculcating into his juniors zeal and keenness.
