FRANCE, Bearn, (Aquitaine), Vicounts of Bearn, Centulle III-V of posthumous rulers (from 1012 to 15th century, an issue to uncertain ruler but of late style), silver denier, obv. legend around cross, + CENTVLLO COM, pellets in two angles, rev. P A X in centre, around ONOR FORCAS, (P.d'A Pl.69, 8, Boudeau 525, Roberts 4181). Very fine with surface hoard patination.
