WORLD COINS, Medieval Europe, a selection of issues in silver, billon and copper, assorted medieval denier from Italy and France (9), Prussia 1545 groschen of Albrecht (1525-1569); Germany, Wismar town, silver witten, c.1379, obv. CIVITAS MAGNOP head of bull facing, rev, MONETA WYSMAR cross with fleurs at end, (Jesse 365, Kunzel 2); other base silver from Austria, Netherlands, France (5), a double struck AE liard from Liege [17]52, copper pfennigs and other minor European copper (10) etc., a copy of double ducat of Giovanni Galeazzo Maria and Ludovico Maria Sforza (1481- 1494), Spanish coins (3), gold fanam of Travancore India, Hyderabad quarter rupee; small Thai bullet money (2). Poor - very fine, a few better. (43)
