INDONESIA, Sumatra, AE half dudu (3.18 g), Bencoolen, ND (1693 or 1704), (KM-294.1), an East India Company issue. Good fine and very rare.

The Bencoolen Presidency was a British possession in Sumatra based in the area of what is now Bengkulu City. In 1785 it was downgraded to Bencoolen Residency and placed under the Bengal Presidency. The British ceded Fort Marlborough and Benculen (Bengkulu) to the Dutch as part of the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824.
