VATICAN, Clement IX (1600-1669), canonization of St Peter of Alcantara and St Mary Magdalene, undated, in bronze (13.5mm) a later striking; Pius IX (1792-1878), struck by Province of Frosinone in memory of return of Pope to Rome, 1850, in bronze (40mm) by Giuseppe Cerbara (Bartolotti E 877; Ranieri 71), obverse, Pius IX bust left, reverse, nine lines of Latin text and in exergue, MDCCCL. Extremely fine; scratches in reverse field, otherwise very fine. (2)
