MACEDON, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.60 g), "Babylon" mint, issued 325-323 B..C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, M to left, below strut, W**F*, to right **ALEXANDROU*, (cf.S.6713, Price 3603, BMC 3603, M.674). Toned good very fine.
