ATTICA, Athens, (mid-late 4th century B.C.), copper tesserae for theatre or Assembly area, 20mm, (5.35 g), obv. **S* within circular boarder, rev. **G* within circular borsder, (cf.Svoronos Athens Pl.100-102). About very fine, letter combinations unlisted, very rare.

Ex Elvira Elisa Clain-Stefanelli (1914-2001) Collection [as the Demarete Collection] with her numbered packet 4320 (suggesting Byzantine Period?).
