T. CARISIUS, (c.46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (4.10 g), obv. head of Aphrodisian Sibyl to right, border of dots, rev. Sphinx to right, around T. CARISIVS to right, in exergue III VIR, (S.321a, Cr.464/1, Syd.983b). Banker's mark on neck, otherwise toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
