MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 171, (3.55 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around IMP M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXV, rev. around VOTA SOL DECENN, in exergue COS III, Marcus Aurelius veiled standing to left, sacrificing at tripod, bull at feet, (S.4955, RIC 248, RSC 1031). Good very fine.
