TI. QUINCTIUS, silver denarius, issued 112 or 111 B.C., Rome Mint, 3.81 grams, C.297/1a, S.563, Cf.BMC Italy 577, Sear Quinctia 6 (p.84), Obv. Bust of Hercules seen from behind, with head turned to l., and club over r. shoulder, Rev. Two horses to l., ridden by naked rider (Desulter) wearing cuirass, behind control letter N dot below, below a rat to r., between TI and Q, in exerque on tablet, D.S.S, border of dots. Very fine and rare, (1468).
