Caecilius Metellus, Silver Denarius, Issued 96 B.C., 3.84 grams, Rome Mint, Crawford 335/1b, Sydenham 611A, BMC 730 & 732, B.Caecilia 45, Obv. Laureate head of Apollo to r., behind L.METEL, to r. A.ALB.S.F., below *, Rev. Roma seated to l., on shields, Victory stands behind crowning her, to l. C.MAL downwards, in exergue ROMA, dotted border; another L.
