L. FARSULEIUS MENSOR, silver denarius, issued 75 B.C., Rome Mint, 3.95 grams, C.392/1a, S.789a, BMC 3306-3311, Sear Farsuleia 1 (p.47), Obv. Diademed and draped bust of Liberty to r., S.C under chin, MENSOR. before, cap of liberty and number off field behind, Rev. Roma in biga to r. assisting a togate figure to mount into the chariot, scorpion below horse's feet, L. FARSVL[EI] in exergue. Toned, good very fine, (38).

The obverse relates to the LEX JULIA (90 B.C.), by which the right of citizenship was granted to all Italians. The moneyer is not otherwise known.
