NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 97, (3.06 g another 3.22 g), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS III P P, rev. around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, Libertas standing left, holding pileus and sceptre, (S.3034, RIC 19, RSC 113); another similar (3.39 g), rev. around SALVS PVBLICA, Salus enthroned to left, holding corn ears, (S.3035, RIC 20, RSC 134). Toned, fine, scarce. (3)
