AQUILIA SEVERA, second and fourth wife of Elagabalus, (220, 220-222 A.D.), silver denarius, issued 220-222 A.D., Rome Mint, 3.11 grams, RIC 225, BMC 185-187, C.2a, Obv. Bust draped to r. of Aquilia Severa, hair with vertical waves and fastened in plait at back, IVLIA AQVILIA SEVERA AVG around, Rev. CONCORDIA around, Concordia standing to half l., sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar and holding double cornucopiae, in field to l. a star. Very fine and very scarce, (311).
