JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (218-223 A.D.), silver antoninianus, issued 218-222 A.D., Rome Mint, 4.88 grams, RIC 264, BMC 70-72, C.30, Obv. Draped bust to r., of Julia Maesa, with stephane on a crescent, around IVLIA MAESA AVG, Rev. PIETAS AVG around, Pietas standing to half l., extending r. hand perhaps holding a patera, over altar before her, and holding incense box; another similar 4.69 grams. Green oxidation first coin otherwise, fine - nearly very fine, (382-3). (2)
