VESTA, Vesta standing half left, holding palladium and sceptre, (S.8217, RIC 360, RSC 81); Maximinus, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.09 g), issued 235-236, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing to left with baton and cornucopiae, globe at feet, (S.8315, RIC 13, RSC 77). Blue and gold tone, both extremely fine and scarce. (2)
