MARINIANA WIFE OF VALERIAN I (C.253 A.D.), base silver antoninianus, issued c. 253-260 A.D., Rome Mint, 3.74 grams, RIC 4, C.4, Cunetio Hoard 647 (1 spec.), Obv. Diademed and veiled bust, draped to r. of Mariniana, all on crescent, around DIVAE MARINIANAE, Rev. CONSECRATIO, around, peacock standing facing head to r., tail in splendour. Toned, very fine, rare, (477).
