RATS OF TOBRUK MEDAL, 1941, private issue by 9 Aust Div Engrs in Tobruk, made of aluminium with copper insert featuring an erect fighting rat in brass, reverse impressed with medal no, 380, and stippled with details of recipient, 'QX.859/Fallon. R.J./2/2/42/R.A.E.', fitted with Africa Star ribbon. Displayed on board with history of the medal design and issue, good very fine and rare.
