GROUP OF SIX: Naval General Service Medal (GVIR Indiae Imp), - clasp - Palestine 1936-1939; 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star, - clasp - France and Germany; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVIR Ind:Imp). 49582 W.Wolstencroft. A/L.S, R.N. on first medal, second to fifth medals unnamed as issued, 40168 Ch. Elect. W.Wolstencroft RAN on last medal. Named medals impressed. Some ribbons stained, a few medals with uneven toning due to removal of double sided tape, otherwise very fine.

Wilfred Wolstencroft, born 12Jun1916 at Oldham, England; served in Royal Navy 24Apr1934 to 10Aug1946; Enl.06Oct1948 in RAN at Sydney for 6 years; includes service on HMAS Sydney and Australia; Disch.05Oct1954.
