Jack Bishop Warner born 23Jun11919 at Paddington, NSW; Enl.05Feb1940 at Sydney, NSW; assigned to destroyer HMAS Stuart 12Nov1940 during her operations in the Mediterranean including action against the Italian Fleet at Calabria, part of the Inshore Fleet in support of army operations in Libya, the key Battle of Matapan, the evacuations of Greece and Crete, and support of various landings including British commandos at Bardia and bombardment of key locations including Sollum; Disch.09Apr1943 as Seaman, ex HMAS Penguin.
