MILITARY GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1793-1814, - thirteen clasps - Roleia, Vimiera, Corunna, Fuentes D'Onor, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse, and unofficial Badajoz, Almaras, Walziren. T. Robertson, 71st Foot. Impressed. The last three made-up clasps are soldered in a group at the top of the official clasps, very fine.

Ex J. and J. Edwards Collection.

Ten clasps is the maximum number issued to other ranks of the 71st Foot.

With medal photos and details and letter from Mr Alec Purves advising that the medal is a ten clasp issue and the other three clasps are bogus and should be removed.
