PAIR: Candahar, Ghuznee, Cabul Medal 1841-42, Candahar issue; Scinde Medal 1843, Meeanee/Hyderabad issue. Private William Arbott H.M. 40th Regiment. Both medals issued unnamed, and engraved contemporarily. Both with contemporary replacements of suspenders as was common practice, many contact marks and small edge bumps, otherwise fine.

Only two men of the 40th Foot received the Scinde Medal, one being William Arbott.
This pair of medals is possibly a unique combination for the 40th Foot.
