Frederick George Hines, born 1894, enlisted 12 August 1914, in Northhampton Regt transferring from 16 Lab Coy. Settled in Australia with his wife in 1924. During WWII he was called into the Civil Construction Corps and worked on construction of a hospital at Camooweal, Queensland, for use mainly by US forces in Australia.
