MACEDON, Akanthus, silver tetrobol, (424-380 B.C.), (2.330 grams), obv. forepart of bull to left, head to right, traces of ethnic above (EY?), dotted border, rev. four part incuse square of very archaic form, (S.1369, BMC 37, cf.SNG ANS 30-49). Light tone, very fine and scarce.

With old tickets including Seaby ticket.
