SICILY, Syracuse, reign of Agathokles, (317-285 B.C.), AE 213, (7.85 g), obv. bust of Artemis to right, quiver at shoulder behind, before **SWTEIRA*. rev. above and below winged thunderbolt **AGAQOKLEOS / BASILEOS*, (S.1200, BMC 422, McClean 2858, SNG ANS 708ff.). Brown patina, very fine and very scarce.
