MYSIA, Pergamon, (c.after 180 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, struck c.76 B.C., (12.23 g), obv. Cista mystica within ivy wreath, rev. two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase, above, A**P* and monogram (=prytaneis) within wreath, city monogram to left, serpent-entwined thyrsos to right, (cf.S.3950, Kleiner, Hoard 24). Toned, very fine.
