THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.858 grams), Uncertain mint, style of that issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, on throne letters KB?, no other monograms or adjuncts, to left **BASILEWS** to right **LUSIMACOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, not in SNG's etc.). Good very fine, minor cut on neck, very rare and an unlisted type.
