TRIO: The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander (CBE) (Military) type 1 neck badge; Queen's South Africa Medal 1899 (type 3 reverse), - four clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901; British War Medal 1914-18. The first medal unnamed, Major R.Tremaine, R of O. on second medal, Lt. Col. R.Tremaine. on third medal. Second medal engraved, third medal impressed. Small piece of lacquer missing from left arm of CBE, otherwise extremely fine.
CBE: Supplement to Edinburgh Gazette 15/12/1919, p4060 - to Major and Brevet Lt Col Richard Tremaine RGA (R of O) in recognition of valuable services rendered in connection with the war.
