Frederick Hobbs, beasman, age 21, born at Wangaratta, Victoria; Enl.24Oct1916 at Royal Park, Victoria; Emb.23Nov1916; served in France; RTA 24Nov1919; Disch.08Jan1920; served in WWII; Enl.25Nov1940 at Melbourne, Victoria; Disch.13Jan1944 as WOII ex 2 Field Sqn.

William George Hobbs, labourer, age 32, born at Yarrawonga, Victoria; Enl.13May1918 at Melbourne, Victoria; Emb.23Jul1918; Died 01Nov1918 of Influenza and Pneumonia at Sutton Veny Military Hospital, England; buried at Tidworth Military Cemetery, UK with full military honours, with preceding Firing Party from Australian Machine Gun Training Depot and the Band of the 5th Reserve Cavalry and with his brother Frederick Hobbs as Chief Mourner along with one officer and about 30 NCOs and Men. His sole medal entitlement is the British War Medal.
